About the Defenders of Crooked Lake

The Defenders of Crooked Lake Inc is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide education and public awareness in order to preserve the natural beauty, purity of water, inherent ecological value and quality of living that distinguishes Crooked Lake of Babson Park, Florida.  This organization will foster protection, preservation and enhancement efforts in order to maintain one of the few remaining pristine fresh water lakes in Florida. It will foster collaborative efforts with governmental agencies, private foundations, corporations, elected officials and individuals in order to reach goals pertaining to the preservation of Crooked Lake and its surrounding areas.

Meetings

The monthly meeting of the Board is usually on the second Tuesday of each month at Jack's Diner in Babson Park ,Fl at 6:30pm

Membership

There are currently three membership Classification:

1.  Individual     $25.00 per year dues.

2.  Family          $50.00 per year dues for families of two or more people in the same house.

3.  Corporate    $100.00 per year dues.
